Privacy policy
whereto.lol is built to know as little about you as possible. No accounts, no tracking profiles, no ads.
What we collect
- When you vote: the country you chose, the amount, and the optional name and message you typed. Name and message are shown publicly on the leaderboard, so don't include anything private in them.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe collects your email to send a receipt, subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- While you browse: a random, anonymous identifier kept in your browser for the "online now" counter (deleted from our side within minutes of you leaving), and aggregate page-view analytics from our hosting provider. Neither is linked to your identity.
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of personal data with advertisers.
- No tracking cookies or cross-site profiles.
Third parties
- Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and aggregate analytics), and Neon (database) process data to run the site. Booking links open third-party travel sites governed by their own policies.
